One suite, three roles, no handoff

Most data tools pick a side. Either they are simple enough for the sales director and useless to the analyst, or powerful enough for the engineer and impossible for anyone else. So the work bounces between departments: business asks, analytics queues it, engineering builds the pipeline, and the answer arrives after the decision was due.

Sapioverse puts all three in one place.

Business analysts ask questions in plain language. Sapioverse writes the query, runs it read-only against your own database and returns a written answer plus an interactive chart. They build their own dashboards without opening a ticket.

Data analysts get an AI-assisted SQL editor. Write the query yourself, or describe what you want and edit what comes back. Run it, save it, chart it, push it straight to a dashboard. The SQL is always visible, never hidden behind the assistant.

Data engineers get a visual ETL builder. Compose the flow as nodes, and Sapioverse transpiles it to real Python and SQL you can read and keep. Publish it, then run it on whichever machine you install the local agent on.

Why the answers are actually right

Turning English into SQL is the easy part. Knowing what your tables mean is not, and that is where most tools quietly get it wrong.

Sapioverse works from a business context layer you load yourself: a plain description for every table and every column, in your company's own vocabulary. What counts as an active customer. How your margin is calculated. Which channel is which. It does not guess. It uses what you gave it.

If your database already documents itself with SQL COMMENT statements, Sapioverse imports them on the first schema sync. You document once, inside your own database, and keep it portable.

Databases and safety

PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, SQLite, Oracle and SAP HANA.

Read-only by design. Every generated query is validated before it runs and anything that is not a SELECT is rejected. Sapioverse never writes to your database.

When the database is not exposed to the internet

Most business databases sit inside a company network, and opening a port to the outside is not on the table. Sapioverse ships a local agent you install on a machine inside that network. It polls outbound, so there is nothing to open, nothing to forward, and no inbound connection to your systems. Prefer the classic route? An IP allowlist or a tunnel works too. The same agent is what runs your published ETL flows.

It is not a replacement for your BI stack

Power BI, Looker and Metabase answer the questions somebody planned for. Sapioverse answers the one nobody did, at the moment you have it, and it hands the analyst and the engineer the tools to turn that into something permanent.

When the data is not ready

Some companies connect and get answers the same afternoon. Others find out the tool was never the problem: the data lives in five systems and nobody agrees on what a customer is.

For those we also do the groundwork, from data architecture to catalogue and PIM pipelines. It is easy to use because we did the hard part first.

Pricing

A free plan gives you 20 AI questions a day and sample databases to try it against, so you can see real answers before connecting anything of your own. Paid plans and data services are on the pricing page.

Behind it

Sapioverse is built by Alejandro Campos and Marian Lazar. We are not going to claim thousands of customers, because we do not have them yet. What we do is show you the product running against your own data, with the founders on the call.
